Processing processes always start with the natural products that come from the field. First of all, these products destoned and washed. Depending on the specific process of our customers, we like to determine the optimal solution for further peeling, sorting and cutting.
Marcelissen guarantees the highest quality of finished products. In order to achieve this, it is important that potatoes, beets, carrots and other tuberous vegetables are cut well. We therefore ensure that our cutting machines and processes are continuously improved in order to guarantee the best cutting results. Compact Hydro Cutter
Potatoes, beets, carrots and other tuber vegetables are cut with a Compact Hydro Cutter at high speed into sticks or slices of the desired size. At high speed (approximately 100 kilometres per hour) the product is pulled through a venturi tube with a knife. The innovative clamping knives that are used improve the cutting result.
We also make use of the laws of physics, whereby the product passes through the knife grid at a certain speed. Thanks to the optimal ‘aligning’ of the potato, damage and feathering are prevented as much as possible. This preserves the shape and cutting quality and thus reduces damage to the product to a minimum

Halving machinery
In the past, potatoes used to be peeled and halved by hand, Marcelissen offers efficient solutions for this labour-intensive process.
The Continuous Halving -and Quartering machine and the Start/stop Halving -and Quartering machine consist of an infeed conveyor, a roller conveyor and a cutting section. The machines ensure that the product is positioned correctly and is placed in rows on the roller conveyor. In the cutting section, the product is cut into two, four or six parts.

Slitmaster
The Slitmaster is the ideal machine for making potato sticks and fries. The Slitmaster is only suitable for industrial kitchens and cafeterias.
Our Slitmaster can be supplemented with a corresponding small version of the Sliver Remover to remove small pieces of product. In this way, we ensure that the end product is of the highest quality.
