The Optical Sorter Mechanical - SOM is an expertly engineered machine for optically grading both peeled and unpeeled potatoes. This advanced machine assesses defects, color, size, shape, and waste, ensuring only the best potatoes make it through your production line. It is equipped with a dosing unit, roller belt, camera unit, and ejection zone, each designed for optimal performance.

One of the main advantages of our Optical Sorter is its flexible exit configuration, typically including exits for good product, waste/bad product, and overflow for double and repeel. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a sophisticated spraying system for continuous cleaning of the roller belt, ensuring optimal hygiene standards. With a remarkable capacity of up to 108,000 potatoes per hour, it offers exceptional efficiency, adaptable to varying filling grades and potato weights, making it an indispensable tool for high-volume processing operations. All Optical Sorters are custom-engineered and made. We work closely with you to ensure our machines meet your needs and are produced according to your specifications.
