Auger Destoner with Sand Catcher – VOS400

Fully refurbished VOS400!

This destoner consists of a water tank with a vertical transport screw 400mm in diameter. The suction of the screw creates an upward flow of water that pulls the product towards the screw. As the stones are too heavy, they sink to the bottom of the water tank.

This destoner is fitted with a perforated double bottom to separate the sand from the potatoes and stones. The sand falls down through the perforated plate, while the stones sink and remain on the perforated plate.

To remove the stones and sand, two cleaning covers are placed in the water tank on the left side.
