Nomination through dedication

This year, Guus Treuen, Owner & Senior Consultant of Marcelissen Food Processing Machinery was nominated for the Lodewijk van der Grinten Ondernemersprijs 2019. This annual award for best entrepreneur of the region is always based upon a specific theme. This years theme was titled ‘’Food: creation and innovation’.

Together with the owner of a food-processing company and the owner of a food-climate logistics company in the region, the three owners opened up their company for a jury visit and presented them their innovative companies.

Guus: “To be nominated for the Lodewijk van der Grinten prize at age 70 is an enormous honour and a great recognition for our company and above all our team. It may be an entrepreneurial award, but we’re all doing it together!’’

The motivation behind the nomination was the fact that Guus has been a dedicated entrepreneur since the 1990’s who’s always available for his customers around the world. With over 40 years of experience, Guus wants to help and support them with advice and solutions in every way he can, to ensure the best outcome for his customers.
