Waste Press Auger – WS

The waste press auger consists of a horizontal trough conveyor screw that collects and transports the waste into a closed wedge wire screen drum. The openings between the wires are 0.5mm. The sieve drum ends in a cone which is sealed by a flap that provides counter pressure from a counterweight.

The counter pressure ensures that the screw conveyor pushes the water out of the waste. The water runs out of the bottom of the trough of the screw. The dried waste is pushed out of the front of the cone and can be collected in a container.
