Machine for cutting potatoes and other roots and/or beets into 2 or 4 pieces over two or more lanes in a continuous process.
This machine consists out of an unique input belt, an aligning roller bed and a cutting section.
The belt measures out the product carefully and is engineered to create a single layer of product on the roller bed.
The self aligning rollers have a particular profile that positions the potatoes before they reach the cutting section.
This cutting unit – driven by PLC – moves continuously over the rollers and cuts the potatoes into 4 pieces.
With the PLC it is possible to adapt the speed to other machines and belts that are connected.
Underneath the length of the machine is a collecting belt. This belt will gather all products and make it possible to inspect the product one more time.
Capacity: 55.000 potatoes per hour
